Erik, Monica, and I attend the same church but I did not know them well. Monica and I share a mutual friend named Kristen, who thoughtfully recommended me to them when they needed a photographer for their engagement pictures. I am so glad she did and when asked if I would take their pictures, I excitedly said YES!!
The MIT Boat House is a special place to Erik and Monica because this is where they got engaged Erik proposed. Along the Charles River, the Boston sky line was perfect back drop to capture the love between Erik and Monica. As I got to know Erik and Monica during the photo shoot, I observed that they are both loving people who truly adore each other. They were both were rock stars and so patient with constant touch ups as we battled a very heavy wind by the water and very cold temperatures!! A special shout out goes to Kristen, for being a great assistant during the shoot-I could not have done it without you!!
Erik and Monica-I am so grateful that I can now call you my friends, instead of just knowing you by name. Thank you for letting me capture this special place and time in your life.
