Alena and I are both mental health clinicians and we used to work together at the same practice. Alena’s warmth, empathetic support, and humor made it easy for us to become fast friends. She started a private practice in the area before I did and when I started mine she was a HUGE support to me. I will be forever grateful for Alena’s service to me as I started my practice. Alena also holds a special place in my heart as a friend and now even more so as the subject my FIRST ever photo shoot. Alena willing said yes, when I asked her I could do a maternity photo shoot with her. She and her husband, Jonathan were so patient, flexible, and kind to me during the shoot. The Arnold Arboretum provided a beautiful backdrop for capturing this beautiful moment in their life. The following summer I took their family pictures at the historic Old North bridge. Though we met earlier in the day than desired due to an impending storm and it was so hot and humid that day, again, Alena, Jonathan, and adorable baby Eloise were super stars! They smiled and posed willingly, while we fought with the changing sun light and the miserable July heat. Despite the challenges, you can clearly see how much Jonathan and Alena cherish being parents and love Eloise. A couple of months later, They graciously invited me to Eloise’s first birthday party. I was able to take a few charming pictures of sweet Eloise with her parents and grandparents.
Alena, Jonathan, and Eloise – thank you for being such a huge part of photography journey. Again, you will always hold a special place in my heart for your all service you gave me!!
